Parham’s Story

For as long as he can remember, music has been an integral part of Parham’s life. At his early age, beside his passion and strength towards numbers and mathematics, he was singing at his school’s music band. But music wasn’t just a fun hobby for Parham. His talent and passion led him to start learning Avaz, traditional Iranian music from Master Abdulhossein Sarkoob and other vocal coaches such as Ali Akbar Sekhavati and Shapour Rahimi. Parham’s eager for singing made him to continue expanding his knowledge of music and vocal techniques by doing self-researches and practices in International, Rock, Jazz and Blues genres.

His professional singing career started on 2004, while he was finishing his Masters in Architecture. During this time, his first track, “Ziaratgah” which was composed and arranged by Aidin Nazmi and Abbas Latifi, was released and also went on air by Iran Broadcasting TV channel (IRIB). In the following years, Parham released ten more single tracks working with Aidin, Abbas, and other artist such as Arash Fallahi, Navid Yavarian and Mehrdad Nokhiz.

Continuing his professional singing career, Parham has been the main vocalist at Badran, Nobaaz and Reminiscence bands and performed several live shows in Tehran and other cities of Iran. At the same time, he founded his own band called Madaar with Arash Eskandarloo, which focused on fusion music. They released eight successful tracks in a year and performed many independent live shows including one for the Freedom Festival at Azadi Tower. In 2019 he performed English and Old Persian Pieces in concerts with other bands such as Avaye Mehrabani and Nushe at the largest halls of Iran, Vahdat and Milad Concert Halls.
